Circuit Civil

A mandatory $50.00 filing fee will be charged pursuant to F.S. 28.241 on any civil action, suit or proceeding in the circuit court that is reopened.

Circuit Civil: General Law

Circuit Civil cases are non-criminal cases in which individuals or businesses sue for damages that exceed $30,001. Cases with claims of $30,001 or less are under the jurisdiction of the County Civil Courts.

Examples of Circuit Civil lawsuits include mortgage and lien foreclosure, medical malpractice, auto negligence, eminent domain, contract and indebtedness and personal injury.
