Domestic Violence Awareness Month - October 31, 2018



Clerk’s office donated $4,800.78. The money was raised through events like the car wash during the Domestic Awareness Month

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Clerk of the Circuit Court, Roger D. Eaton and his staff organized numerous fundraising events throughout the year including a car wash, breakfast and bake sales and baskets created for raffle. The office worked tirelessly to raise awareness for this very important cause as well as financial support for the Center for Abuse and Rape Emergencies (C.A.R.E).

Through their efforts, the Clerk’s office raised $4,800.78 which was donated to the Center for Abuse and Rape Emergencies (C.A.R.E).

"We appreciate the boundless energy and efforts put forth by Roger Eaton and his amazing staff" C.A.R.E. Board Chair Judith Harris said. "We are very grateful of this generous donation and Mr. Eaton’s commitment to our organization."
